ANTI DOPING CODE

Ultimate Cricket Championship (UCC) – Anti-Racism Policy

1. Scope and Application

1.1 Nimble Sports and Events Private Limited (Company) oversees the operations of the Ultimate Cricket Championship (UCC), and this Anti-Racism Policy, designed for players and Team Officials (referred to as the “Anti-Racism Code”), is an integral component of the UCC.

1.2 The Company, through the issuance of this Anti-Racism Code, aims to establish an effective mechanism to ensure that all participants, including Players and Team Officials, conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful and refrains from any racially and/or religiously offensive behavior. Instances of misconduct in this context will be addressed promptly and fairly by the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee.

2. Conduct of Participants

2.1 All Players and Team Officials are inherently bound by and obliged to comply with all the stipulations within the Anti-Racism Code.

2.2 All players and team officials hereby acknowledge and agree:

  • a) It is their individual responsibility to acquaint themselves with all aspects of the Anti-Racism Code, including recognizing behavior that constitutes an offense under the Code.
  • b) To exclusively recognize the authority of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee to preside over and adjudicate on charges brought in accordance with the Anti-Racism Code.
  • c) Not to initiate legal proceedings in any court or forum that contradicts their submission to the jurisdiction of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee.
  • d) That the conduct prohibited under the Anti-Racism Code could also potentially breach other applicable laws or regulations (e.g., equal opportunities and anti-discrimination laws). The Anti-Racism Code is intended to supplement these laws and regulations, setting additional standards of professional conduct for cricket participants. The Code is not designed to undermine the application of such laws; players and support personnel must abide by all relevant laws and regulations at all times.

3. Offenses

3.1 The Anti-Racism Code identifies the following actions, if committed by a Player or Team Official during, or in relation to, a Match, as offenses under the Anti-Racism Code:

Anti-Racism pertains to engaging in conduct—whether through language, gestures, or otherwise—that may reasonably insult, humiliate, intimidate, threaten, disparage, offend, or vilify any individual in the position of a Player, Team Official, Umpire, Match Referee, or any other person (including Spectators). This is based on Race, Religion, Culture, Color, Descent, National or Ethnic origin.

4. Sanctions

4.1 In the event that the management committee/disciplinary committee concludes that an offense under the Anti-Racism Code has occurred, the appropriate sanction will be imposed upon the Player or Team Official responsible.

4.2 The Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee will assess the duration of suspension for the Player/Team Official based on the severity of the offense. Depending on the gravity of the offense committed, the committee reserves the right to terminate the participation privileges of the Player/Team Official.

4.3 The determinations made by the Disciplinary Committee/Management Committee are final and binding for all stakeholders involved.

5. Amendments and Interpretation

5.1 The Company retains the authority to amend the Anti-Racism Code as needed, with amendments taking effect on the specified date.

5.2 The headings used throughout the Anti-Racism Code serve as guides and do not constitute substantive elements of the Code or influence the provisions to which they refer.

5.3 If any article or provision within the Anti-Racism Code is deemed invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the Code shall otherwise remain fully intact, with the invalid provision being considered deleted.
